Qualification of Administrator:
Director of Newfound Academy, Dr. Guernsey holds a Doctorate in Education and is a certified teacher and administrator with many years of public and private school experience.
Member: Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
Member: Council for Exceptional Children, International Reading Association, and Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates.

Qualification of faculty:
All staff have extensive experience with special needs children and work under the direct classroom supervision of one of our Executive Directors.

Other:
Members of Core Knowledge Network.
Newfound High School students enrolls some students in a program accredited by:

1. North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

2. Distance Education and Training Council.

3. State of Illinois.

Students may earn a "regular diploma" not a GED. Other diploma options are available.
